At the request of former employees of Clairtone Sound Corp., the Museum of Industry is creating an exhibit for this summer to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the factory in Stellarton. We are very interested in telling the workers’ stories in this exhibit and so we need the help of former employees.
To gather information, with the help of local historian Judith Hoegg Ryan we are hosting two gatherings of Clairtone workers at the Museum:
Thursday April 7th 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Electronics and Administration
Friday April 8th 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Cabinetry
We are looking forward to afternoons of shared memories and an opportunity for reunions among those who worked at Clairtone. Bring along any photos and mementos. Refreshments will be served. Spread the word!
