Shopmobile Oral History Project

This research study will focus on the Shopmobile artifact, an understudied aspect of rural Nova Scotian industrial and educational heritage. The study will make use of oral history interviews to uncover the experiences of those who engaged in educational instruction facilitated by the Shopmobile. Due to the timeframe in which the Shopmobile was functional, it is likely that these stories will be lost in the coming years. Thus, this research study is essential to preserve this unique aspect of Nova Scotia’s heritage!
